Customers have more options than ever before when it comes to buying life insurance. Engaging current policyholders and nurturing prospects has become especially important for increasing retention, share of wallet and growth through referrals.
Unfortunately, many carriers don’t have a solid customer engagement strategy in place or they haven’t been making real progress in their efforts to engage with customers. Some traditional insurers are making the mistake of anchoring their strategy around the technology they currently have. I believe they have to take bold measures now. Otherwise, they may get left behind.
